AMANDA & DOUG

Amanda and Doug’s wedding at the San Diego Botanic Garden brought their dream of an immersive, lush, botanical celebration to life.

Surrounded by rare tropical plants in the glass-enclosed Conservatory, the day blended modern, editorial style with playful, natural touches.

The ceremony took place inside the Conservatory, where ‘plant chandeliers’ hung overhead and Amanda’s nephew played the violin as she walked down the aisle. Pops of purple and rich greenery created an intimate setting for their vows.

Cocktail hour flowed outdoors into the connected amphitheater, giving guests a serene space to mingle before returning indoors for dinner. Open doors kept the space light and airy, seamlessly blending the indoor and outdoor areas.

Every detail was intentional, from the black-and-white checkered dance floor to the seating chart wall with succulent favors guiding guests to their tables. Amanda and Doug’s celebration was playful, personal, and fully immersed in the beauty of the garden, creating a day that felt magical and timeless.
